We have released the presentation video of Professor Saito's talk on Research and Development Theme C2, "Development and Standardization of Core Technologies for Thermal Energy Management Systems," from the public symposium hosted by JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) in August 2025. The talk reports on the challenges of controlling "heat"—which accounts for more than half of all energy consumption—through energy management systems (EMS), and on efforts to address these challenges using "digital twin" technology.
Broadcast on September 20, "Saturday Station" featured expert commentary on natural refrigerants. The program explained the environmental impact of air conditioner refrigerants, and the current state and challenges of the transition to natural refrigerants with lower greenhouse effects.
